Who it's for
For people who can support themselves in Spain without working — retirees, people living on investments, rental income or savings. If you plan to work remotely instead, the Digital Nomad Visa is the better fit, and we'll tell you honestly which one is yours.
Applied through the consulate
This visa is filed in person at the Spanish consulate in your country of residence — it cannot be filed from inside Spain. We prepare your entire file to the consulate's real criteria before your appointment.
How we help
We assess your case, build your document checklist, verify your funds and insurance, fill in the forms (EX-01, visa application) and help you book the consulate appointment. On the FULL plan we stay with you all the way to your residence card.
Income requirement
You'll need to show around €2,400/month of passive income (400% of the IPREM), or about €28,800 for the year, plus ~€600/month for a spouse and ~€300 for each child. We help you present this so the consulate accepts it.
Health insurance
You need full private insurance with no co-payment, no annual cap and a DGS-licensed provider. Some consulates now reject weaker policies. We check yours before you pay for it.
After approval
You have 1 month to collect the visa, then up to 3 months to enter Spain. Within 1 month of arriving you register (empadronamiento) and apply for your TIE card. The permit is granted for 1 year, then renewable for 2.
