Two ways to file
Inside Spain
Online at the UGE, the Ministry's unit for strategic groups. This is open if you are in Spain legally.
Requirements
Requirements as published in the law and by the Spanish consulates. The consulate or office you apply to has the final say.
| Requirement | What it means |
|---|---|
| The company | The company proves once that it meets the requirements and is registered with the UGE for 3 years, renewable. It must report any change within 30 days. |
| Each employee | Age 18 or over; no criminal record in Spain or in the countries where you lived in the last 5 years; health insurance with an insurer authorised in Spain; enough resources for you and your family; payment of the fee. |
| Family | The spouse and children under 18 (or adult children who cannot provide for themselves) can apply together or later, if they meet the same general requirements. |
Government fees
- The residence authorisation fee (Modelo 790, code 052) is set in the annex of Order PJC/617/2025. We confirm the item that applies to your permit in your quote.
- TIE (Modelo 790, code 012): €16.08 for the first issue and €19.30 for a renewal.
Amounts as published on 2026-11-03. The law updates them every year with the budget laws, and each consulate may state the visa fee in local currency. Your consultant confirms the exact figures in your quote.
